Politics of Permaculture

Artist Kate Price hosted a workshop relating to gardening at neighbourhood garden Botanische tuin Afrikaanderwijk. The workshop took inspiration from Terry Leahy's book, "Politics of Permaculture. " Permaculture is an environmental movement that makes us reevaluate what it means to be sustainable. The workshop guided participants through a series of observational exercises with the plants and other beings inhabiting the garden, and was followed by sharing of simple propagation techniques and plant and soil care considerations.
